SVJFAC Is Looking For Sponsorships

Over the past several seasons, the association has worked to upgrade and recondition our equipment, and improve community park facilities to ensure the quality and safety of our program. As such, the cost to fully outfit a football player for cheerleader is approximately $400.00, of which less than half is covered by the player registration fee.

As a way to partner with our program and support the youth in our community we welcome tax-deductible donations from individuals and businesses which enable us to continue our efforts to make program improvements, enhance our park facilities, and make possible the participation of children from financially challenged families. Any donation amount of $500 or more includes one free registration!

Please click here for further details.

USA Football Award to SVJFAC

Steelers and USA Football Award Seneca Valley Junior Football and Cheer Association With Grant

Seneca Valley Junior Football and Cheer Association (SVJFAC) will get some help evolving our developmental football program thanks to the Pittsburgh Steelers and USA Football Heads Up-Football.  Together, the Pittsburgh Steelers and USA Football who are the national governing body leading the development and growth of youth, high school and international amateur football, recognize SVJFAC’s strong commitment to the USA Football program by awarding a $2000 grant to the association.  SVJFAC is one of only six teams to be awarded this honor based on their number of Heads-Up Football® certified coaches.  Heads Up Football® is USA Football’s national initiative to help make the sport of football better and safer.   For more details about why the Heads-Up Football® is essential to the development and growth of youth football go to http://usafootball.com/headsup

SVJFAC recognizes the importance of developing a safety and education program for all members.  The association has also worked with UPMC and the Pittsburgh Penguins Foundation to educate parents, coaches, and student members to better recognize the importance of a safe youth program.

Seneca Valley Junior Football and Cheer Association is now registering for the 2015 season for  all programs including flag football, the new FUNdamental in-house everyone plays tackle football program, travel football, and cheerleading. Go to www.svjrfootball.org to join the most comprehensive youth football and cheer program in western Pennsylvania.
