2015 SVJFAC coaching applications being accepted

Calling All Coaches

Attention all interested coaches:

Applications for Head Football and Head Cheer coaches for the 2015 season are now being accepted.  There is a new application for 2015, which you can find on our website (svjrfootball.org) under the “Documents” Section.

The overwhelming feedback we have received from former coaches as well as the parent community is to try and have the coaches in place as early as possible this year.  With that in mind, Head Coach Candidates should plan to have their applications submitted for consideration by Friday May 8, 2015.  While applications after May 8 may still be considered, we are hoping to hold interviews for coaches during the last week of May and/or first week of June.

If you are interested in being an assistant coach, we encourage you to also submit an application, though these will not be required until registration is closed.

There are 2 ways for you to submit your application:

  1. Via Email (preferred):  Complete, Sign, Scan, and email the application packet (which includes signed code of ethics agreement) to with the subject “Football Coach” for football or “Cheer Coach” for cheer.
  2. In person: Provide your completed and signed packet in person to a Board Member

Part of our planning process for the Coach interviews and the upcoming season will be based upon enrollment and the number of teams we will have at each age level.  If you are applying to be a coach, please ensure that your children are registered for the upcoming season when you submit your application.

Further information on the process and expectations for interviews will be provided once applications are received.

Looking for Sponsorships

SVJFAC looking for sponsorships

SVJFAC Is Looking For Sponsorships

Over the past several seasons, the association has worked to upgrade and recondition our equipment, and improve community park facilities to ensure the quality and safety of our program. As such, the cost to fully outfit a football player for cheerleader is approximately $400.00, of which less than half is covered by the player registration fee.

As a way to partner with our program and support the youth in our community we welcome tax-deductible donations from individuals and businesses which enable us to continue our efforts to make program improvements, enhance our park facilities, and make possible the participation of children from financially challenged families. Any donation amount of $500 or more includes one free registration!

Please click here for further details.
